I have the same device. But beware, if you do with the Firewire card using, there may be synonymous problems. For me, the recording does not work with Adobe Premiere Elements always. If you're lucky, will recognize the camcorder, if not ... well, then you're unlucky.

Often it helps to convince them to Windows, it is with the desire to capture one seriously. ;-)
