Frage von darut:Hello Miteinander
I'm working s.einem Project with Final Cut Pro version 6.0.4. At the moment I am busy to edit the video footage via fire wire record. Here I sit each IN and OUT points and games so the material on my calculator.
And now to my problem: Every time when the video shoot at the camera or one-off, Final Cut Pro detects this "scene" as a time code and error I created a new clip. So far so good: I have this option under User Settings are selected, because if I am "directly" take me the whole recording in such a "scene change" is canceled. The problem s.der whole thing is that every time when creating new clips of 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. seconds. Say this 5-10 seconds I then lost the next scene. What is pretty unattractive.
S.euch Now my question: Is there no better alternative to my videos? For example, a variant, the timecode jumps, time code interruption or, more generally, time code error simply completely ignored?
Thank you in advance for the valuable tips

There is in the preferences the option of the so-called pre-and post-roll to change. By default it is set to 5 seconds. - You can at the min. 1 seconds out.
If not directly, you need your existing configurations of only one copy, which is then modified.
This automatic scene detection for HDV material is apparently not isolated. Since it is only those missing seconds with plan.

Diethelm Thank you for your reply.
I already feared that this scene detection can not turn off.
Thanks again

Basically you have it synonymous with the simple log and record: You close the camcorder to star test "Log and record", choose the name for a band and clips start direct recording. Then you can completely relax other things, dedicate, because you take each served as Extraclip get. I think this work is now very productive.
The only problem is the lack of second, but that Life is good if you know.
