Frage von nztc2x:Hi,
I have s.Wochenende increased the Canon HV20.
On Sunday I tried the camcorder via Firewire s.meinen Calculator adapter, such as operating instructions according to work.
On my calculator is running Vista Home Premium and the video software is installed (Ulead Video Studio 11 Pros & Adobe After Effects)
When I use the camcorder with my calculator associate, he recognizes this and, despite looking for a Firewire Drivers. Since he does not find this, the camcorder in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation and it does not work.
Since I somehow always in the forum only find articles that relate to XP, I decided, now even nachzuhaken times, because I will hopefully not the only one with this problem under Vista am.

A yellow exclamation point with me, I can not understand. Camcorder will be recognized. In my case it is the Ultimate Edition. As for the drivers but this should make no difference.
However, I still have not succeeded with the (test) versions of video - and Media Studio on capture or zurückzuschreiben.
Work for me (not) the following applications (trial versions of everything)
Premiere Elements 3.0: Does not work, Camcoder, the Gerätesterung as online, in the capture window is displayed as offline. Maybe it works with the 3.0.2 update, which at the trial but does not. Comments (under Vista) welcome.
Premiere Pro CS3: Works both as synonymous capture HDV Export
HDV Split 0.77: Works for me with two limitations. Must first "Play" then "Recording" and start without Preview.
Pinnacle Studio 11 Pros: Works, HDV export but not tested.
Sony Vegas: not tested.
Video -/Mediastudio: Does not work, communication errors.

I own the sony vx-2000 and until now had no problems with pinnacle 10.7 and vista. when I use the i.LINK, vista recognizes the camera easily. because you have even a HDV camera is used, it could of course be different. I recommend you simply start the windows movie maker and see if your HV20 of vista is detected. I once had problems with the camera detection at pinnacle.
