Hello everyone!
My Camocorder of Sony (SonyDCR camcorder TRV-18 ") has several problems:
-> When a recording is played back during the subsequent play no sound
-> The computer recognizes only the memory stick, which means I can not make films transferred
I'm not quite sure what to do.
Should I send in the camcorder (s.welche address?)
Or are other solutions?

Hello Felix,
First I would try to limit the errors that occur. If you should come out of it that you have to enter the unit for repair, you can at least attach a detailed error description.

To 1 I made a short recording to the Memory Stick. When playing the recording from the camcorder, no sound is played, but s.den on connecting PC (so Memory Stick is detected), the sound is played! That means only playback at the camcorder does not work. I guess that applies to a normal recording on a tape the same thing.

Hello,
the contribution is rather confusing.
So on Memory Stick included Stillimage's or movies (320x240) with USB to dub. If the drivers make problems, then buy yourself a memory card reader, ca (9 ¬) - map comes in - New removable disk - double click - and the pictures and Mpeg movies are there.
The film is the Mini DV cassette as described with Firewire carried out because the TRV 18 not yet "full quality video transfer" is fit. If it is created with a USB but with properties Resolution320x240 not like normal 720x576.

do you hear a sound when the camcorder is connected via an AV cable with the Television? Then the sound would at least be in order.

No company gives away so synonymous not like something, and know you have not synonymous 4 pole (laptop, DVD recorder), or 6 pin (normal tower PC)?
Otherwise, buy it (in a market like eg Saturn, where you media etc) you can return it within 13 days and your money back (to make tens of people in my day) - it usually costs around ¬ 10 or so affordable.
You need a Firewire cable synonymous take because you have only so with the TRV 18, the best video quality on your computer.
The lady who was with me today (TRV 18.19) had the same questions, so it happens to many people.
