Hi,
I want to make a dv-avi file and encode new cut - but refuses to premiere the file to import and synonymous to the media player does not play them.
With Quick Time is running but the file properly! How it looks, the file on his Mac, on the DVD were synonymous typical mac with system files on it ...
Dv-avi is but across the system, right?
How could I find it in Premiere to get running?

player? Dv-avi is but across the system, right? Actually, it's a typical Windows format. Unfortunately it says nothing about the used codec. QT tells you the player in the window "Information Film" nothing more?
How could I find it in Premiere to get running? It opened with any tool and as something to export, which in any case, Premiere may just s.besten DV Pal. Maybe can do this "superpower" (I know as MacUser not), if you find nothing else, should you purchase Quicktime Pro online, then you can have it from the export QTPlayer (Quicktime movie> DV PAL). Indeed, it is likely that the Adobe Premiere product, synonymous to Windows to be accepted as a Mov Avi. Premiere is based on Quicktime, not on any Microsoft architectures.

You probably think the Quicktime player? Yes, of course!
QT tells you the player in the window "Information Film" nothing more? So, there is: "Apple DV, 720 x 576 (768 x 576), 16.7 million 16-bit integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48,000 kHz."
All further information (data rate, fps ,...) are synonymous dv-typical!
To my knowledge you need to create a DV - video, just a DV codec, not necessarily those with which the video was created (DV is a standard - otherwise might not be so synonymous camcorder recordings of other cams play).
It opened with any tool and as something to export, which in any case, Premiere may just s.besten DV Pal. Ich hab jetzt mal with Virtual Dub a "Direct Stream Copy" is created! And lo and behold, the file is running everywhere! VD has errors when reading the headers reported that it could probably iron out (the file is now synonymous minimally bigger!) - Maybe it ran previously not so!
