Frage von Harvey:Hello,
I have the following
Hardware: PC Camera SonyDCR-120E, Canopus ADVC-100, Win XP PC with 2.8 GHz.
Software: Pinnacle Studio 9.3 and DVD Lab pro
I digitize my movies made about Pinnacle Studio, cut and then save it as a mpg from. Then I read it in DVD-Lab pro one (an auto and mpv mpa file created) and then the following message:
open GOP's were detected in the file. The file will play fine but chapter points may not start accurately. In your encoder always select Close GOP's to avoid such problems.
Where can I adjust something, the encoder (ADVC-100) is an external device with Pinnacle Studio and I have nothing on the GOP's found.
Normal disturbs me is not the message, but now had a film at some problems with the chapters.
I hope you can give me some tips?!

... the message I had in version 9 again, as I have two clips with a blank space in between had. Happens sometimes when you delete, if the gap is not 100% closed.
I would greatly enlarge the Timeline and a "hole" search. Bei mir hats, but works.

Antwort von Markus:
The apostrophe in the title is doubly wrong! That makes you ready, right? ;-)
Antwort von PowerMac:
In the interest of education of individuals makes me ready. That's why I help yes.
Antwort von Harvey:
@ PowerMac: I know wrong, but what is doubly wrong?
Perhaps you know so synonymous with the problem. The adoption of Andrew, that the gaps in the video are the problem, I can not confirm with me. A single scene in Pinnacle Studio digitized and not further brings the same message.

Hi
I suspect that the Pinnacle sw GOP at the last stop of the recording does not conclude, at least make it synonymous some mpeg2 camcorder so.
If it is in the sw no setting for it, then you could try your mpeg2 file of the freeware pvastrumento repaired (with make HP).
After this open GOP DVDlab no longer reported.

Hello Sektionschef,
I thought this would be it. Unfortunately, the following message in pvastrumento:
ALERT> Temporal structure wrong in GOP s.EOF. Dropping.
Can you order something?

Antwort von Sektionschef:
Hi
This says that the last GOP pvastrumento (EOF means end of file) has removed (dropping), because he for some reason (Temporal structure wrong?) Not mpeg2 compliant.
This should make the newly created mpeg2 file these faulty GOP no longer include. What does the DVDlab now, if you have this new "repaired" ladest mpeg file?

... the same error as before!
Antwort von Sektionschef:
Did you actually synonymous with "make HP" a new mpeg2 file created and then this
newly-created mpeg2 file in DVDlab and loaded the old file from DVDlab away?
If that does not help, could you give me please a short time sample file to you, I could analyze for me next?

Antwort von AndyZZ:
I have these messages synonymous with MPEG2 export from Premiere Pro. Ultimately, the files play flawlessly on the DVDs.
As part of the utmost compatibility now do I export my movies as DV-AVI, DV secure this file back to DV tape and encode with the external MainConcept encoder. Where can I force closed GOPs, synonymous what I do. Differences, I have not yet noticed.
What PowerMac with doubly wrong says:
If there are GOPs (Group Of Picture
s), the majority "s" is always without apostrophe.
And does the apostrophe correctly as follows: '(is the sign over the garden fence and not the French Accent Marks ").
Klugscheißer supplement mode again.
Antwort von PowerMac:
Andy, I love you.
Antwort von AndyZZ:
Andy, I love you. Always be happy .... :-)
Antwort von Harvey:
Hello,
@ AndyZZ: First, thanks for the "dual" statement. I hope the quotes were correct. If I export the movie first and then encode must, I will probably just about the message going. I have noticed is not in any event, I thought it was only the DVD player depending noticeable. If the problem is simply with PVA Strumento would have done would have been nice.
@ Section Head: I have made it so, as you've described it. Even now times a Beispielfile. Since I did not know whether the packetsize Unconstrained or 2048 bytes (PC DVD) must be, I have of both a file made. Both get the same error in DVD lab Pro.

Antwort von Sektionschef:
Hi
Thank you for the files.
If I analyze this with pvastrumento leave, then this program will remain in an infinite loop hang!
When I look at the files with the MPEG Parser (in per DVDlab included) look, you will see that the files are wrong GOP structures.
Synonymous Could you please post the original file which have not yet been altered with pvastrumento. If this is also the same GOP structure, it has created the Pinnacle Sw the mpeg2 file wrong.

Hi
here is the Pinnacle File.

Antwort von Sektionschef:
Hello
Has a little longer, but I could see:
The GOPs (Group of Pictures) of your mpeg2 files are actually open.
The Gspot analysis software (freeware), confirms this
Unfortunately, pvastrumento apparently not, as I had adopted, the GOPs include, but removed only omissions.
In DVDlab forum (http://www.mmbforums.com), the "open GOP" error very often. Supposedly, it is not very critical when you open GOPs in DVDlab Project. The only disadvantage is that, when open GOPs problems with chapter markers aufreten, if such precise s.GOP-end.
From DVDLab pro V1.6 can mun under Project Properties-> Advanced the error message "open GOP" off, probably because a lot of mpeg2 encoder the GOP open. If you are in your Pinnacle Sw find no way, the GOP when recording close to, then simply ignore the "open GOP" error (or s.V1.6 turn it off) and author the DVD as usual with the open GOPs. lt Forum Hollywood DVDs are synonymous with open GOPs created, seems to be no serious problem.

Antwort von Harvey:
Hello Sektionschef,
thank you for your detailed processing and analysis. In my DVD lab pro version, I can not turn off the error message. At Pinnacle synonymous, I have found nothing, which seems to me the GOP closes. On my CD player I have until now had no problems. I do however not synonymous Tab's s.Ende. Since DVD's I often do for others, I thought that if any other player can give problems.
Many thanks again and Bye!
