I'm probably spoiled because I've worked previously with "heavy equipment", but perhaps my Manfrotto 504 synonymous simply in the bucket.
Yesterday I got the head and had to find to my surprise, that takes place between the tilt Grades 1-5 hardly a noticeable loss. From 6 it feels it s.wie. should be at 1 and only at max-9 it is half-way as it should feel at 5 - in my opinion. And without a camera on it.
If I buckle my HVX 200 on it I have to turn really up to the stop to halfway to get a loss.
The lag damping is only max. Setting to use reasonably.
Is it synonymous with you like that?

Yes I've turned on the, but should have no influence on the damping, at least I know of the so-Oconnor and Sachtler.
