I have problem with the NEN length video in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. When I look at the clips in mediaplayer oderso look, they have the correct video length. synonymous when I look in the properties. but if I use these in Premiere Pro 1.5 import, they are suddenly much less (eg will 10min film length from 30 sec and the rest is simply not there). I have this problem but only with clips, which I by windows movie maker from the camcorder to the pc via games.
please help me and excuse my upper / lower case letters.

Are the project settings in Premiere correctly (possibly different frame rate) eingstellt?
In what format the sound is stored?

Avi is a container format, ie a first Avi says nothing, as long as you use the codec does not know. Therefore the tip Gspot mi. In the ideal case, the movie as a DV Avi available. I think I recall that there ever had a similar issue and the problem then was that the sound in mp3 existed (but I am not sure). Could that be the case with you be? You could for example, the file with Virtualdub times Demultiplexing (Sound and Film in separate files) and then only the video in Premiere to import.

If I'm not quite senile, it was the same problem that the video was too short and I'm almost synonymous sure it is with the mp3 sound hung together.

Somehow can not do everything but one. I have been variously synonymous the Movie Maker to capture and then abused in Premiere (6.5) geschnitten. That was always perfectly (consistently in -AVI/WAV DV).
