Frage von Greghack:Hello,
I wish (like so many, but after yesterday, I already have some forums gewälzt and am not really smart, a separate thread) a few old VHS videos secure. The aim should be cut, possibly with the introductory text to send his films. These films, I'd like to have one on DVD and the other possible space on my disk storage.
Since it really only goes to a few tapes, I would like the existing equipment and use freeware (an LG RH277H DVD Recorder hard as I currently believe the only way for me, analog to digital data and to get Vista).
The procedure that I have now zurechtgelegt, probably somehow leads to the target, but probably with much Konvertierei connected. Moreover, I can not picture what a meaningful format for my concern.
The originals are part of TV recordings, sometimes quite bad video recordings. I am not interested in quality out of everything.
So my procedure:
1. From the video on the hard disk recorder via Scart record.
2. From the hard drive to DVD
3. S.Calculator Open DVD (vob files)
4. vob files to mpeg convert with vob2mpg
5. mpeg in Windows Movie Maker Editing
6. Save as avi in WMM (which quality level is sufficient?)
Until here I have already neatly quality loss. Maybe someone has ever a more useful procedure with freeware tips. And I know s.hier no longer synonymous quite next.
How do I get the avi fairly small and what is the best format for storing on the computer hard drive?
The opinions I can now synonymous in Windows DVD Maker capture in order to burn a DVD and should thus be synonymous a new DVD put together right.
Is there a better DVD authoring freeware or even tips on formats, quality backup? (As I said, it's not about the noise still possible to minimize ...)
It would be really great if you could help me some. The best in short form
1. vob in schlagmichtot with Super Software
2. ...
Thank you ever and many greetings
Greghack

Movie Maker is not necessarily the true
maybe if you put the VOBs just rename Mpg

The aim should be cut, possibly with the introductory text to send his films. In this case, it would be useful, the video recordings initially in a well-cut equivalent to digitizer data and
only then (for burning of DVDs) to compress. Otherwise, you make life unnecessarily difficult and take additional loss of quality in Purchase.
My tip would actually have been: you borrow an A / D converter (Canopus ADVC-300), capture everything with WinDV (with this tool you can adjust virtually nothing wrong), edit the images as desired and then create the DVDs. Since there are only a few cassettes and hard disks become synonymous are very favorable, there is nothing to the digitized images as a DV-AVI archive.
I am not interested in quality out of everything. If the quality does not matter, I can unfortunately not much help. * no-clue-by-vob cut-hab *

With DVD recorder capturing the best quality of the recorder allows
schniebeln then the files and then once with kompremieren Xvid.
Backup to DVD cut version on DVD and avi s as a DVD or CD ready to burn.
