Frage von max_iqueu:Hello,
if I get a file from Edius Procoder out with a Stream Mpeg2 render and then burn to DVD, jerky created the film on all Mac computers (Mac mini, Powerbook, MacBook Pro). On PC and stand-alone players, not jerky.
If I have the same AVI file into DVD Workshop can render, this leads to a smooth DVD playback on Mac computers.
Has someone already made this observation?
What is the reason?
I already have s.der data, s.Sound (PCM/ac3), s.GOP tuned ... the solution, I have not yet found. I would be your ideas for solutions and very grateful ...

Do you have the DVD on standard compliance verified?
It just shakes the Apple DVD player? Of Live DVD? Or synonymous Video TS folder? Shakes it synonymous in VLC? How many set-top DVD player have you checked?

Hello,
and thanks for the input.
1) I always use the same authoring software. ReelDVD, Sonic Pro or DVD Workshop. The only difference is that I once the stream as it is from Procoder and even use the program can render. That would have no preference but his ... In both cases it would have to conform, or ...???
2) DVD player, I have 4 test can. Philips, LG, Pioneer and Panasonic.
3) With VLC it seems to work smooth. I try but still a few films from which I now do not have on hand.
4) From harddrive it works synonymous smooth, but I think in some shooting, there were problems as synonymous.
I will in the next few days to test and post the results.
If there really is "only" s.Apples DVD player software should be, that would be annoying but not a problem.
But why the same MPEG2 file once leads to problems and does not remain a mystery to me ...

I guess it's up to (d) a disc-type, perhaps not fast enough can be read. If it is because of hard drive works, it would be really the only explanation.
Conformity with what I Professional Programs, the DVDs and streams in conformity with the standard review and not whether you think it really should be. Can help such as DVD After Edit.

So now I have taken the time to once again just to test:
Well, the bucking is synonymous of Fetsplatte visible. The file has something ....???
I have Procoder and tested the speed encoder. Both lead to this behavior on Mac OS X.
When I see the same MPG2 file with DVDworkshop render leave there is no bucking.
Asking for instructions .... Thanks and nice greetings,

Hello,
here is the solution of the problem:
It is an incorrect setting in the Field Order:
If DV (SD) recording, then the bottom field. However, if you are with the Canopus HQ codec is captured then the material is top-Field! And then when you export to Procoder mind.
Windows seems to somehow wegzustecken, Apple OS X seems to be less vergebungsvoll.
I hope that's true then ... for me, the change to all the bucking Fällle eliminated.
