and wanted to know whether the linked Cam supports progressive scan, or only when you shoot photos??

I found the menu not a progressive recording for the film as SonyHC eg 90th
It is indeed synonymous Photoshot - so we may take 2 fields together and make it a full photo image, which have so nearly all recent Panasonic's.
