Perhaps one can think of you a beginner question.
Is it possible to an already burned DVD back into the Project editing program (Pinnacle 11Plus) to import and edit next. Or does it only with the formats AVI, WMV ...

A Project (fixed term) you can not no longer supported by the tape of a video or DVD-editing program to retrieve.
A Project contains the instructions, so to speak, as with the original raw deal, so the clip of which part is used, the clip has been on the computer screens and what to use (etc.). On the DVD or tape reaches only the result (in the form of videos).

See the Effects is occurring now as unchanging picture element, occurring as an actor or a tree as shown. This is not a project anymore! (How you make it in the original posting had mentioned)
Again: The term "Project" is about the cut firmly demonstrated.
The Project consists of the media files (eg AVI, WAV) and a description of what it should do (cuts, s.welchen clips s.welcher body effects, etc. This information is stored in a (Manufacturer and Product addicts) project file. The media files are not changed. The whole content of the work takes place s.der project file instead.
The final product off of the video (tape or DVD edition) is now all the instructions of the project file and it creates a new media file. This new video contains more information s.None body and references to its history (why this project will not say).
