Frage von AvidFehler:Please, please, please help !!!!!
Have a project is deleted, which I now need ... All data are on external hard drive along with database file is stored. With the import of database file can I get my data in Project Restore, but no video sequences.
There's a lot of damn work. Can I still restore the sequences?
Antwort von K.-D. Schmidt:
So give it a whirl with programs such as PLUS or undelete Recuva. If no new data have been saved, a recovery could be possible if the file names are known.

Alright, thank you, but what do you mean by "If no new data have been saved." What data is stored & where?
Antwort von ksr:
Data that have been deleted are not really of the hard drive away, but only your indexing is gone (Comparison Library: If the card away, of course, the book is still on the shelf - but it is hard to find). So if now with a software which data are to be found again, the interval should be no file operations take place - because otherwise, after and after the deleted (actually just released) files are overwritten and of course you can not be restored (otherwise would have a hard drive yes infinite capacity!) - So the disk with the deleted data in just now let Ruh!
In the network's various recovery tools, but synonymous commercial providers - just google ...
Might still be difficult or disproportionately expensive - but perhaps did so lucky ...
In any case, careful and s.besten all data before you with such tools the preceding!
Antwort von AvidFehler:
So almost the same as when data is lost during the reinstallation of Windows. Alles klar, danke ...

search on the Avid Calculator "Attic" folder, usually found under your own / common files / ... Custom Projects / Avid Attic. Since there are looking for the project - the project folder in the bins which are at different times to create copies. The bins are the files you have with the file extension to *. AVB rename them. with a little luck is the version just before the deletion was created. then open the bins on a new project.
... just copied ausm avid forum:
Open tha Attic folder look for your project name, find the equivelence of your corrupted file, copy this file to your desktop, or anywhere else you may find it easily from your Avid app, add the.avb extension to the filename, and import it into Avid.using "open bin" under the file menu. "
frohes and create good luck
