Hello,
end June, I go for 3 months under a "Work and Travel" program in the United States. Because until now I was not yet in the U.S. I have a few general questions.
1. How is it with my video equipment that I want to take as hand luggage, can there be problem with the inch, because the equipment is a bit larger than a normal tourist? Correspond to the size and weight of hand baggage rules.
2. Because Sony chargers are synonymous designed for 110 volts but it would have to be synonymous with American Kaltgerätkabel times or am I wrong?
3. Are required prior to entry into the U.S. special vaccinations?

Hi Tino,
from my own experience with foreign travel (especially U.S.), the following information:
1. How is it with my video equipment that I want to take as hand luggage, can there be problem with inches ...? If the camcorder is a current model, it is advisable to bring a copy of your receipt. Then there is the return to Germany any problems, because you can prove that you bought your camcorder here (and thus the tax have) already paid.
2. Because Sony chargers are synonymous designed for 110 volts but it would have to be synonymous with American Kaltgerätkabel times or am I wrong? Just take a travel adapter with. That's quite enough and you need no extra power cable.
3. Are required prior to entry into the U.S. special vaccinations? To my knowledge, no. Except you want to live in the wild. ;-)

Otherwise: Go assume that the mass of staring with PAL can begin nix pictures - if you want to control your videos, you'll have a PAL monitor (possibly bring together the power transformer).

There's - you can easily get to you but synonymous socket adapter. Is a matter of taste.

Since I will soon synonymous into a 110Volt-go country, I would interressieren whether the load at 110 volts running the same as in Europe at 220 volts?

The charging time remains the same.

Two things have occurred to me yet.
There is such a green card for technology, because if your camera equipment is registered - you have less running around s.Inch. When shooting or disk, there is a document that says that you do not have pornographic material on the tapes, which is important!
A tip, if it is too heavy luggage anyway, Byrnes & Sawyer gibts in every major city and there you can rent for spot prices synonymous camera technology.

So I'm an absolute layman, but would like to share the following experience with you.
I was in late 2004 in the U.S. and had a DV camcorder while my employer. I had lots of recordings made and taken with them to Germany.
Once there were broken all the shots. The picture was distorted and the soundtrack over.
So bad I thought. Surely something was not OK with the recorder but then I already was planning the next trip for 2005.
In spring 2005, then my detention was ... uh .... marriage in the United States. I have extra time taken to another recorder (I think we have 20 times the same Sony-watched part) and the photographs in the hotel. Everything fine!
Back in Germany, the shots were over again. Why? But DV is a digital process? How can that affect the X-rays?
