I will soon have a larger number of S-VHS tapes (about 30 tapes) digitize and wants me to move up a S-VHS player. Rent is in proportion to the current Gebrauchtpreisen far too expensive.
Unfortunately, I needed no idea of the different models and views a buy recommendation.
Can someone views me as a tip for a couple of Ebay auctions to give, or has anyone of you has a S-VHS player for sale or to rent (possibly for 2 weeks rental and return 5 CDs with royalty free music, world music, jazz, radio, etc. - and) easy to use?
Thanks for the help.
'm From Mainz
Gruss, Marc

Hello, have recently been excavated of my analog editing suite are two Blaupunkt SVHS Editing Recorder (RTV-920 HiFi HQ) on the shelf. No longer new, but fully functional. If you are interested: w.roedle @ t-online.de
the good (S) VHS recorders have become extinct at the beginning of the "Geizzeit" a few years ago, unfortunately. You could possibly look for high quality used equipment and let them (wait, if necessary repair /). A very good consumer SVHS recorder as the Panasonic FS200, which 1993 to 3000-DM-class and one of every longtime videographer should be known.
Professional (S) DVD recorders are no longer produced to my knowledge, that is synonymous because you could only rely on machines.
How important is a high quality when capturing video recorders, illustrates the adage, "The chain is only as strong as its weakest link." What good would a first-rate A / D converter, if the incoming video signal sch ... is?
Good luck!

Hi Mark,
I now have a FS-100 bought for little money. The recorder is broken and no one has offered it ... hope that is playing really still "top".
Interresanterweise there are no distributors in the Mainz area synonymous longer have the studio equipment.
S-VHS Camkorder (are) without optics still relatively cheap to buy synonymous ,.... but because it creeps me before any maintenance work.

Hello Marc,
Although I have two professional SVHS Recorder (near Frankfurt), but I can not sell or give, because I need it myself regularly. ;-)
I press' you fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly with the FS100!

Be careful when NV-FS100: is the video head drum VEH0454 now no longer available!

I would rather advise you to a NV-FS200. He has a sharper picture and crisper colors. The FS-100 has a great drive, although synonymous, but his picture is in direct Comparison (and which I have) something "Washout". In addition, the FS200 has a built-in TBC and is therefore synonymous for capturing signals from stabil. When you are in fact capturing Syncron-reinforced recorded fluctuations.
