Question: s.Files Windows-based batch conversion tool for large numbers
Frage von Flokey82: März 2011
Hello people!
I had a question: I need a batch conversion tool, which is processing as many files in a queue without having to die. Before your lynches me, yes I know that the chances are low that there is a tool that meets all of the following criteria:
Windows-based Batch processing of large numbers of files (it will be processed 25 000 files, it can be synonymous divided into chunks, but as large as possible) -Freeware/Open Source - MPEG2 format Scripting support? -Somewhat comfortable
The program is not for me but for a friend Videoeditorin that has a stupid, greedy, unrealistic boss. It will convert within a few days of 25 000 and the videos of various Varaitionen MPEG4 to MPEG2
" Frame size: PAL D1 (576i25); " Video Codec: MPEG2; " Video bitrate: 10Mbps; " Chroma format: 4:2:2; " Aspect ratio: 16:9 flag streaming video sugli con queste caratteristiche. Flag 4-3 Quelli prodotti per questo in formato.
or alternative
" Frame Size: 1080i25; " Video Codec: MPEG2; " Video bitrate: 20Mbps; " Chroma format: 4:2:2;
Possible with a recursive scan of the source directories. The problem is that it is only one, although powerful, yet Windows-based desktop PC. So ever omitted any Linux tools ... and since the boss is stubborn and greedy, do nothing synonymous cost and must run on Windows. The company is not so great and so I ask you to use .... if anyone of you has an idea or help me and you can, please tell me about it!
I've already browsed the internet, I am, but was never forced to work more than 10 files in a queue ... In this case, but it would be at least 200 and all the traditional tools gave the ghost (100% CPU usage, RAM to max) before it because they JACExtensionData Convert the media guide instead of 1 by 1 the list to just work ... The media info is rather unimportant, as the source format is standartisiert (in large blocks to 5000 Files roughly)
I hope for your help!

One could write a batch file synonymous. That would recurse and would use ffmpeg for example.
I would smooth for money, but we must renounce the miserly boss in his Mercedes on two full charge Tank ...
