Frage von Janni:Hello,
I'm still new to the forum and in the matter. Am currently in training.
Recently learned how, one should look for in high-definition HD material such as AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPro HD to that in Final Cut (Final Cut Studio 2) the material is not accidentally processed in 8-bit instead of 10 bits.
I have material of a P2 cam. Both AVC-Intra and DVCPro HD.
I think in Final Cut but nowhere a setting where I can see if I can now work with with 10-bit or 8 bits.
In the sequence settings have asked for DVCPro HD and in the AVC Intra Projket material that is set to ProRes 422nd (with ProRes 422HQ, FC bleats that the material is not AVC Intra does not fit and the sequence will be adjusted.)
I guess the settings are right so far, but how can I control this with the 10-bit?
I hope for your help
Janni
Antwort von Webbsta:
FCS 2 supports AVC-Intra-100 until completely s.Studio 3rd Before you come not without converting next. Therefore, I would jump with DVC Pro HD to work, so you kannnst work s.Besten without loss.

Aha, I already had feared.
And if I DVC PRO HD material with the Use default editing DVC PRO HD sequence settings, can I be sure that FC is working with 10 bit?
As the with the effects look like? I read somewhere that some effects and transitions FC car converts into 8 bits.
