Hello!
1) I received a femden Calculator with capture card in P6.5 some Analogszenen (Hi8) and transferred via external hard drive on my calculator and imported into a film in PP. When playing the avi on MMP or Power DVD correctly display in 4:3. In PP but strange effect: in the left monitor window (original view) shrink to picture with bars at the top and bottom (16:9?). When playing the timeline on the right monitor window while 4:3 display, but shrink to Picture (vertical). The import (which are only references) I have found no controls. The only difference to jump in PP recorded Avi `s is that in the Project window, 720 * 576 (1.4) stands, while the jump in PP 720 * 576 (aufgenommenne 1.1) is, what does this mean?
2) When cutting a film on it, I was that I must share because of too great length. About the work area, it worked synonymous export only a part of and play on DVD. I would now like circumstances, the second already partially cut part transfer to a second sequence, then edit and add next. Every single clip to be transferred because of the many interfaces too cumbersome. Exporting and importing new seems synonymous not very elegant, there is a better way?

That I have not even on my second question, an answer, when it was an issue in the processing sequence Premiere Pro Tips, I was frustrated a little bit.

Good, then I will not even be so - Frustration is unhealthy ;-)))
Create new sequence (File>) New> Sequence.
In sequence 1 the desired image area framed with the mouse (highlight).
Edit> Cut (Ctrl + X).
Enable Sequence 2 (click).
Edit> Paste (Ctrl + V).
