Hi,
I currently because of an upcoming holiday soon but with the SD-707 liebäugel I had a few questions to the sound.
The camera has unfortunately again so a 5.1 microphone, but you can at least switch to stereo.
Eliminating this setting synonymous background noise, which are usually included with 5.1 always full?
Since I do not feel like filming on a new experience a la "Darth Vader" as want to do with other cameras (; Pana SD9 and SonyTG7), both of obensitzende microphones and surround me would be important.
Of course I know that an external Micro s.besten, but I do not always have one on it. Thus it would be good to know just how it looks now.

at least as far as the windshield, I can make a clear statement. Yes, the Puschl helps to suppress wind noise well. That is what is on my SD707:

Stereo is better, then is synonymous own breathe to hear in surround sound quality and the fans. You can set it, but in the automatic mode is still included in 5.1, only in a purely manual mode is recorded in stereo. Some things will change when on automatic and manual reseted again.

Check out the exact times Stillimage my cam on. The fan hole is too. Sun synonymous the 5.1 sound is absolutely top!

Ok, again: It is less about the fan noise. This can reduce it, yes. The question is, are human (!) Breathing sounds of the filmmaker for the stereo setting to hear? And background noise (behind the camera), above the tolerable level, that what is ahead, drown?
