Frage von mechphil:Hi,
has anyone experience with RED ONEs Freeware REDCINE and FCP XML? I have available. R3D files (, so RED RAW files) in 4K and have cut a short sequence in Final Cut Pro with. Mov proxies and would like to now import via XML REDCINE in the scene then get out completely in TIFF or MOV rendering. But the XML import REDCINE says every time "Failed to build Construct".
One could, of course, all the clips before converting into something editable in REDCINE and cut in Final Cut Pro. In addition to a lengthy 4K-cut, but are then more synonymous rendering times and more space needed. With the "cut list" method, it's just faster and more efficiently. According to a few details and tutorials that I found on the web, this way is possible, but is still in beta stage and is nowhere explained in more detail. Now you are asked ...
Thanks in advance

Hello Mechphil,
try `but` Clipfinder times. With this free tool you can Final Cut Pro files compliant:

I personally do not work with proxies, but the convertible R3D files (after a slight correction in Color Red Alert), cut into ProRes HQ 1080p and this in Final Cut Pro. This works very easy. If you are slicing course for high-definition movies or Grossflächenprojektionen over 2k to get it s.die limits.

Ne other option would be to cut synonymous with the new Premiere Pro CS5.
Since nothing needs to be converted and runs quite fast (if you runterschraubt the quality in the preview window).
