Are you sure that nothing is recorded? Close the camera s.einen Television s.and control it. If something is recorded, the thin ribbon cable could be defective, which leads from the viewfinder to the board.

Yes. This morning everything was ok again for 10 minutes. Suddenly failure of the viewfinder (; black) to read only settings. I can probably make none for myself, right? Mfg Walter

Perhaps even more buyers have derCanonMv 650i this problem?! If so then let's together do make andCanonzur talking about. Surely that can not be - the most important function of a camcorder is defective. If that does not back such a case is built of things that compel consumers to repair or purchase.

Hi,
I have exactly synonymous, the MV650i and have the same problem. Old recordings play works, only new images are black and the viewfinder image synonymous.

So, for anyone that should help it yet. I have sent my camcorder now s.eine workshop in Hamburg with the request that I would have repaired the unit for free.
Let's see what will come of it ...

I have spoken with Canon's support - and they said to me that would be a known CCD problem. My Cam I've posted a few weeks ago and regret to wait, according to letter a few weeks because the parts are not yet available ... That despite an expired warranty do I get the cam on VOLLKOLANZ repaired.
