I have added myself dieCanonMv850i and now opera I have around all day to get a video of the thing down over Firewire.
SD Card via USB no problem, but of absolute MiniDV via firewire problem. My calculator says that is only connected noHardware. * Sigh *
Since synonymous nothing responds when I use the camcorder s.das cable, plug in and turn on (Firewire). What should I do? Please help, it is possible the Firwire PCI cards is broken?

Can you just write more detail what do you do? What OS and what prog you with Capture?
In most cases the following sequence when the PC is correct:
1. Cacorder connect via FireWire and on (, play on, not Rec!)
2. Videoschnittprog start
3. Capture window (; or pointed in your prog-containing synonymous is always called)
4. Start Capture
Describe a little bit more about your hardware and software.

Hi, So to the OHCI I can not tell you anything, how would I know, it's definitely for XP and it has been recognized synonymous. Service Pack 2 is synonymous it. Have haute synonymous with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and tried again nothing. I will go tomorrow to replace the card. Maybe this helps

Can anything be with the firewire card? Is a combo card with USB and the USB part works (; synonymous with the camcorder)

Hi,
when a camcorder is connected via Firewire and on, it will be displayed in Explorer under Imaging Devices as AVC compliant DV tape recorder. Is this the case? If so, then the OS has recognized the camcorder.
If he does not recognize of your capture program, however, then just take the Windows Movie Maker.

I have XP otherwise I'll do it as you have described. and it is the message attached nohardwar. yet he is tuned all the time.
I use Nero Vision Express, but even on the DvMessenger it gets. Because it reports to me even the device is not connected.
