Hi Max,
if your VCR is no Y / C has access (VHS recorder?), a simple adapter you use is not synonymous: the video image would be only black and white. See the FAQ contribution VHS auf PC.
Wenn der Movie Maker keine Aufnahmegeräte findet, dann bietet die graphics card offenbar keine Videoaufnahme an. Sind die richtigen Drivers installiert? Oder gibt es vielleicht eine baugleiche, besser ausgestattete graphics card, die sich äußerlich nicht unterscheidet aber die Videoaufnahme unterstützt? - Weitere Infos dazu findest Du sicher im Beitrag video card on a PC without a TV, where it was also referred to the graphics card.
