Frage von Dezorian:ERROR: "Can not find timecode during capture"
pops into my premiere 7 if I want to capture a video.
After only 20 seconds or so increased the capture-video and it is the message.
This I must say that I've run in the background still Bittorent, Firewall and Norton.
My PC is an Athlon 64 2GHz, 1GB ram and 15 gb free shoveled for the video.
What does that mean, and what solutions might there be for this?
Thanks again,
Dezorian

Do you have TC breaks on your tape??
If so, there are the host tool, select cancel at TC jumps "- this option must be off ...

Hi, have exactly the same problem: "Cannot 'find timecode during capture"
Initial attempts with a SonyVX3000E, then with my TRV14E, both cams, the same error.
On the tapes are a number of TC breaks, but that is not the cause, because "stop at TC jumps" option is disabled. Cam also got with this many times and captured on the tapes were synonymous TC breaks.
It is obviously NOT s.Premiere Pro, because other software has problems too (; tested with DVIO, AVCutty, Windows Movie Maker * shudder *)
At fault are synonymous NOT the hard disks, have two physical (; not two partitions) in my calculator and hanging synonymous each alone s.einem IDE cable. On D: is the swap file (; 2GB fixed size). Have therefore tried to synonymous C: managed to capture, so I gave it once to 2 minutes, then only between 2 and 30 sec.
My operating system is WinXP Pro with SP2 and i have all updates and patches. The drivers are all synonymous installed correctly, both FireWire card as synonymous for Cam (; Sony DV camcorder in the Control Panel).
Have tried to use different DV codecs (and currently Adaptec DV codec) without success. Programs are underway noanderen (; apart of firewall, virus scanner, etc.) in the background.
I use the same FW cable (; and Port s.der card) for an external hard drive and that works synonymous with no problems. Besides I have, as I said with the same hardware configuration already captured a couple of times, but not with Windows XP.
Some people have told me synonymous, that it should be no preference when the TC is on the tape is not consistent (, except for in / out capture, but I will anyway capture the entire tape)
I am in terms of technical problems, not just helpless, but now I really do not know more next ..
