Hello friends
After I successfully in approximately 4 weeks on my new computer with Adobe Premiere've recorded videos of the action to the PC, today gehts nicht mehr.
A search on the Internet for "Unknown Recorder Error" brought only a single indication that this bug with Premiere was known and there is no solution (?). It seems to me that it has to do with it that I have installed the meantime, further SW - only what is now the premiere of Gar makes, I do not know, of course.
If I really can not fix the error, how should I s.besten the movies in the PC? - Got to go with the Sony tool seems to be (the result not yet looked at) but that is only 10 minutes into pieces and that disturbs me.
- With VirtualDub, I have the hingekriegt not in a hurry.

No. I never make images, just backup the data. But would it really synonymous not the solution because I need the software I have installed it. It would have helped determine which software is likely, however, Caused this.

I also have the same problem with PP 1.5 and had. I believe you can help me, but only if you have a dual-core processor (namely because it was for me). When PP is run 1.5, you must capture before pressing
Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Now click on the
Processes tab and search
Adobe Premiere Pro.exe. Then she makes a right and elect
membership .... Now you must
choose only
one of the two CPU's. Deselect It should now run the recording. Then you can edit the video to render and re-select the two CPU's.

I had the same error and when I was s.der's external hard drive. Had s.meinem laptop via a PCMCIA card, the Camera and one hard drive connected via Firewire. That is not really got along so myself (bus!?) And has therefore canceled premiere at irregular intervals with "unknown recorder error". After seeing the hard drive connected via USB did, everything went smoothly.
