Frage von vivadante:Hi,
It was time for my small analog VHS and SVHS video collection (all legal! private copying of TV) series and movies for once to burn a few DVDs. Years ago I had put on me for this purpose an external converter, the
Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge Converter, which gave both the Mac and the PC world at home and was there on the same good agreement. The product is connected via
Firewire (1394) and the calculator and could then easily run the emerging USB Solution to rank. First viewable results were realized quickly and without problems until this solution by other activities in the space provided Calculator for a long time forgotten. In the meantime, as some s.neuer Software and Hardware diesm accumulated on your computer, so that (presumably) for this reason, these results today, unfortunately, can not be repeated. An appropriate, tailored to the problem, unfortunately I have searched in vain for posting. The "stickies" while giving great advice and are synonymous otherwise recommend any interested person, but seem synonymous pass s.besagtem topic.
To make you familiar with the

With the
Main Actor video capture program I had no problems to control an analog VCR. The resulting videos were indeed huge (although packed into mpeg format), but were at least transcode later and thus significantly decrease. Today, however, the following happens:

When you try this step for this documentation lines crashed my System off suddenly, without warning, by the way the first time in this form and on this occasion. Of course I had, as might be expected to submit a prior VERY long wait until then, unfortunately, this sudden event occurred). But even the breaking of this function leads to long waiting lists. : mad:

"What kind of a long post.
I've just flown over and retain the following:
You ne Hollywood Bridge.
With the included software's not working anymore.
With iuVCR it works, but leads to muddy the picture.
This picture looks very muddy to NTSC. The Hollywood Bridge can both PAL and NTSC. The basic setting is mostly NTSC. And when your program Caprture PAL expects to deliver the Hollywood Bridge but NTSC, it looks exactly like this, as you show it here.
Hook up the bridge but go on PAL, at times, then it would have.
Hot tip or the Hollywood Bridge:
Keep yourself s.folgende during commissioning sequence:
1. Cabling to connect, except electricity for the Hollywood Bridge.
2. Analog signal must be applied, ie, running mixers.
3. Hollywood bridge with supply current.
4. Capture program start s.Calculator.
Try it times out.

2. Hi Stefan,
Many thanks for your reply. Have you ever anticipated ...
it worked! Your Tip observe a certain sequence in the operation of the bridge was worth gold. :)
PAL I had already eigestellt anyway, the source was not a NTSC. Use has finally worked out with
v4.0 of the program
Sclive Scenalyzer.com, about which I could read here in some postings. With VirtualDub's, however, problems still exist (I do not yet know so well from it). Error message:
The current video capture format is not compatible with AVI files But I guess that the problem is synonymous still get to grips with.
So first thank you again for your tip. Would not have thought that the problem can be solved in such an unconventional manner.
Antwort von StefanS:
Well, you see, congratulations.
The Scenelyzer I would have suggested to you if you had not even been told that you had found a program, with which you took the "Pictures slush" on the monitor.
The "trick" is:
If the signal is already applied, this raises the bridge when creating the power car to the correct standard. I had this problem at first synonymous, so I knew your pictures synonymous mud. For me it was just that during derUmstellung to PAL and then out again abschmiert my MSP Capture module.
Therefore, I had experimented with the order.
With VirtualDub you will not be happy in the relationship. The fact is still exclusively on VfW (Video for Windows). The Panasonic DV codec (a type 2 DV codec) also corresponds to this standard. Is synonymous with VirtualDub.
You will then be but the Type 1 DV file, which you have after the Capturn of the Hollywood must either convert to type 2 (www.ulead.de tool for this purpose) or Scenelyzer immediately captured in DV type 2
