Hello,
I once had a question and hope that someone can help me here.
I have with my DVD recorder from TV broadcasts included some that I want to edit now with the Movie Maker.
My problem is: that I can watch the DVD but with the player above I can not open the movie maker. Whenever I click on Import video, he shows me only the folders s.aber any files.
I hope you understand what I mean and can help me.

Hello,
the files on the DVD are in the folder called Video_TS and *. bup, *. ifo and *. vob.
Movie Maker, but not import these file types, but only *. avi, *. mpg, etc.
The video and audio data are in the *. vob file.
We must therefore find a program that opens the *. vob file and can edit.
I myself would try it with Nero and then with the partial vision, but there are certainly more Programs.

usually the vobfiles can simply be renamed. vob endung of change in mpg. ie: copying to disk ... rename the vobfiles of vob to mpeg .... invite moviemaker.

from irgendeinText.vob to make irgendeinText.mpg. vob rename it to mpg. (Click on filename with right mouse button and appoint a new ending)

during the first part of this PowerDVDzeichen (when I click on it because it plays the movie), but when I go there to rename just the name changes and in ZM hallo.mpg and underneath is still Vob File
For the other two parts, I could rename it without any problems.

I do not understand the question.
