Frage von watcher:Hello,
I am an avid computer gamers and for some time, I would like to record times as some scenes, etc., edit digitally and then finish as Mpeg.
There is a software solution (FRAPS), but this limits the speed of play because of saving on the hard drive while playing noticeably, at least for me.
I have read in my "research" on the Internet that may be the way: Stream tap of the graphics card on your camcorder -> Rücküberspielen the stream after the game on PC -> processing -> Creating the Mpeg
is the better.
I have asked for a gaming magazine whether this is the way they use when creating the videos on the DVDs but unfortunately never got answer, so I am asking here!
I Vesteh that I therefor need a camera with video IN and am currently about to buy the Sony DCR-HC96 too.
The decisive buying criterion for me is whether I am on the way I have described above, the scenes can be recorded or not.
PC Page should therefore be clear. I list the data is still on time for all cases:
AMD 3500 +, 2 GB RAM, 320 GB RAID 0 hard disks composite, GForce 6800 GT, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 with Firewire, Windows XP Home Edition + SP2
Has anyone experience of whether this way works and which has perhaps been used once yourself?
Thanks:)

So if you need it only for Game Movies, erstmal GameCam try before you buy you for that extra ne camera. In my view, better than Fraps.

Thanks, the program did not know and it would now time to test tonight at home.
Nevertheless, I would be interested if anyone has time I had gone the way is described. :)
Antwort von lurco:
an effective medium, and synonymous to the usual way to start would be while playing a demo.
which will then be played back later and by fraps etc. to capture.
of course, depends on the game, whether there is a demo option.

Since most Grakarten offer analog outputs, would even recommend Recording with an external DVD recorder. But give the synonymous even for a paltry ¬ 100-150. Then you had the picture already on DVD and'd have to convert only once.

The gaming magazines take what is see on the screen for graphics via an analog output to occur - such as stefan said - on a DVD recorder.
