Hi! I am looking for a solution to remotely control a camera as SonyHC1 over a long distance. Has anyone had experience with it?
Or with a different camera model? There are long Lanc Cable / Wireless Remote / software solutions??
I would like to control at least the following: on / off, Aperture, Focus. If possible, even the menu: Night shot on / off.
It's too far for infrared. And I want a good quality synonymous and no surveillance camera ...
?? Has anyone a tip??

Entwerdung via the LANC goes without problems, if one builds an extension cord or the LED on the remote control go entöten and with a cable remote control of the camcorder. There, the LED solder again.
I've already tested both over 100m.

With fiber optic I tried something similar before, but for me it does not work. Not at all. Not even with only 1 meter.
All the light guide, which I tried out until now, are control (on the wavelength of the infrared signal to a remote, 870-930nm) impermeable. But let me because I like to teach .... maybe I'm just the wrong fiber varieties tried? Does anyone know ne fiber, particularly works with?
