Hi,
I noticed also that creating a file from a sequence in the Media Encoder in my opinion, but takes a long time. I have created as a multi-camera sequence with 3 picture-and sound tracks each in the AVCHD format. The sequence lasts 31 minutes. Creating an AVI file from the sequence takes almost an hour, with all 4 cores (4 x 2.8 Ghz) have an occupancy rate of 100 percent.
Is this normal, or could we speed up the process somehow?
What experience have you here?

Which codec is in the. Avi, the resolution as amended?

As I said, the source material is AVCHD 1080i50 ... The sequence I have however, is a DV Pal Widescreen, which probably was not as meaningful. And from time to time I have scaled into synonymous in the Picture.
Lots of light, it would be better to create the sequence as AVCHD in 1080 with 50 fields and leave the scale at 100% accessible, maybe it's better?

That would be with better security, since the image scale is completely unnecessary and even to extend the duration Reder! ;)
