Frage von Nathanjo:Hello Slashcam community! Was not here long, but after a long search, I know next-longer and need help.
I think about it long after my old Panasonic NV-GS 11 of a new camera to replace at least a slightly better picture quality, and ideally in native 16:9 recording (; eg MiniDV anamorphic).
A while ago the world of the cams for me was the salvation, many of Panasonic 3CCD cams and it always seemed to be cheaper. So I waited. Now there are hardly any MiniDV cameras, even almost nurnoch of Panasonic camcorder used and are still relatively expensive. The new HDD and SD card camcorder with MPEG2 HD, I'm suspicious and I eh too expensive. A 3CCD would be still a dream.
So that would have a new cam can be /:
- Max 350 EUR expensive
- 16:9 Recording
- S.besten MiniDV (; let me retune synonymous happy ...)
- Microphone port
- Manual settings for shutter, aperture, white balance and focus (; I love s.meiner GS-11 and I was so far out of nowhere Panasonic reputation in the price range)
- How best lowlight (grades, I can not expect much is clear to me, but something better than my GS-11 would) have nice
Would be worth the NV-GS 90 already? I imagine there would rather EUR 200 for a slightly better cam than EUR 350 for a camcorder hard disks without any manual settings. Where has happened since in the picture quality at least somewhat (and, except 16:9). Are there any other devices of other manufacturers with similar characteristics?
Thanks for all the answers! Oh yes, the aim, inter alia, short film work in amateur (; No) budget.

Hi, thanks for the tip! I find very appealing, would be pretty much what I've always wanted - except a small but serious flaw: No microphone connector.
This is a must for me. Of course, I could buy myself one device for external sound, but even if I spend 350 EUR, I would have much rather have a microphone port would be there.
Are there alternatives?

Again, thank you, and you need not apologize now secure.
But both the NV-GS 280 as synonymous an NV-GS 180 (; previous model, I suppose), there are apparently nurnoch needed to overpriced prices - if at all.
Apparently there since the boom for HDD and SD cards no reasonable, the new camcorder, or even more available in this area. Although I will then look again next time for these models.
I'm at Canon and Sonyumgesehen me, but then stop missing manual settings. Probably remains the only NV-GS 90 - but here I would really like to know how good the quality is well (; in Comparison to the NV-GS 11). Better than 16:9 letterboxing when I hopefully will be ...

Well ... If only the NV-GS 90 - but here I would really like to know how good the quality is well ... When there were more choice in this segment was the GS90, the very lowest level model of Panasonic, which has, for example, not even a filter thread. You also rightly so important port for Microphone and headphone you most likely that you seek in vain. By the way, search the forum you will find a wide range of contributions to the GS90 - maybe even help in the decision.
Unfortunately, it's like you say, microphone port, manual settings and primarily Lowlightqualitäten are acceptable in this price range can not be found.

Thanks for the note: So far I had assumed that the NV-GS 90 would have a microphone port. Why? Because they (the successor, and several generations) of my NV-GS 11 is - and that has a.
Now all I seem garkeine Alternative retain more than my camcorder. In 5 years, the camcorder developed in this price rather than go back. Pretty depressing.
Canon still offers a very attractive models, but I do not think that I am with an automatic exposure or can live programs. Better quality or not.
