Frage von kreativ-klinik:Hello,
specified for the DCR-TRV740E of Sonysind than 1,070,000 pixels resolution. How can I figure out how to divide the pixel width times height? The Manual is available on that point.
Could it be that here 1024x576 pixels in 16:9 format're in, and what is the situation at 4:3?
Greeting Lizy

Hello,
whether 16:9 or 4:3 - the pixel density is the same. It only changes the pixel aspect ratio (; 1:1,33, 1:1,78 ;....), say you have then in the Width stretched pixels, so do not square but rectangular pixels.
Normal PAL resolution is 720x576 pixels visible, which is standard.

The standard format is already familiar with, so here is a brief explanation of how I come to the question. So in steps:
1. Recording with SonyDCR-TRV740E on Digital8 tape in 16:9 format
2. Importing into Magix Video Deluxe via Firewire
3. Exporting a single frame as JPG Picture
4. Open in Photoshop results in a size of 1024x576 pixels
Strange. Strange.
