I've tried several Programs to edit my videos but they all have problems when Resolutionder output exceeds the movies 800x600.
Now someone has suggested to me Vegas, but I do not know whether to hire synonymous with problems are higher resolutions.

No problem in Vegas (but in many other editing programs like Premiere or Edius not synonymous).
Simply add in Vegas Resolutiondes source material in the project settings and ready. Will be accepted in Vegas every Resolutionbis 2048x2048.

Tried values: Actually, all with 800x600
So 1024, 1152, ... And every time he goes to the next field or something surrounded the value back to 800 jumps.

Unfortunately, I can not understand here. I have installed three different versions of Vegas - 4, 5 and 6 - but None of them jumps at a resolution value to 800 back if I change what s.den settings.
Only when I enter a value higher than 2048, it jumps back. But just to 2048.
