Frage von armin72:Hello,
I would like komprimeieren a video with Xvid. The video is in 16:9 format.
Now I've tried different resolutions, but none has really worked. The first thing I tried 352x198. On the PC that is properly presented on the SAP is the picture, but apart unfortunately. Next, I tried dranzukleben black bars above and below. Since I have the visual picture back on the entire image at 352x198 and 352x288.
zum Bild On the PC, it looks good again, at the SAP is the picture this time, slightly compressed. Can the reason be that not at 4:3 corresponds to 352x288. Should I take more as 352x264 or 384x288? 352x288 would be even half PAL resolution. In Xvid I could just fix the aspect ratio, but there is an indication that this will be ignored in an avi container.
How do I set the Resolutionhier one s.sinnvollsten so that the SAP is the true picture?
Gruss,
Armin.

The first thing I tried 352x198. On the PC that is properly presented on the SAP is the picture, but apart unfortunately. Hello Armin,
Your television has a 16:9, 4:3-switch? You will find that either directly as a button on the remote control, or possibly in the menu. That you can look in the manual.
The first selected resolution (352 × 198) in any case corresponds exactly to a ratio of 16:9 and should be correctly displayed in the 16:9 mode of the TV.
See synonymous:
16:9 Recording with DVCPro, transferred to MiniDV is stretched 4:3 (comes to you, the best known picture in this post?)
Next, I tried dranzukleben black bars above and below. Since I have the visual picture back on the entire image at 352x198 and 352x288. The aspect ratio of 352 × 288 corresponds 16:13,1. A 4:3-Picture, however, would correspond to 16:12. No wonder then that the video looks like on the television breitgezogen something. ;-)
Should I take more as 352x264 or 384x288? Both 352 × 264 as synonymous 384 × 288 correspond to exactly one 4:3-ratio. I would begin by the former Resolutionausprobieren, because you do not have to scale the template.
Antwort von Armin72:
Thanks for the hints. The Xvid codec setting the aspect ratio is not permitted, however, guarantee that it works.
zum Bild If any event, an indication that the container formats on the aspect ratio does not read every SAP ;-).

Antwort von Armin72:
The aspect ratio is ignored. I've tested with media player classic and winamp with. The work actually seems to avi not. But I next experiment a bit.

Armin.

The aspect ratio is ignored. In this case, everything's all clear. Details as above. ;-)
Antwort von Armin72:
Yes, exactly - thanks for the tips :-)
