Hi All,
I have a Panasonic NV-GS60 s.meinen connected laptop via USB. After the hardware detection, I have tried
display the content on the drive. But was nowhere to be seen in Explorer.
Then I tried to view the contents of the tape.
But is now empty, as if I had the tape accidentally deleted.
Can someone tell me how I can make the content on a tape again?
The entries in the forum have not fit so well for my problem.

So I think you are confusing something there!
The contents of a tape can not the PC show!
You have to dub the contents of the tape in a video editing program, unless the tape contains no data?
What happens when you play the tape on the camcorder? Is everything ok there?
If you see anything on the camcorder, then NOTHING is on the tape.

You have to connect the camcorder via firewire. That is a different interface and a different time. Then you need to capture in a video editing program, then take of the camera. Let's go's time to systematically: If there really is nothing on the tape, the camera recorded synonymous nothing. You've seen the pictures but afterwards, so they must have been recorded. Can you tape in question time to test in a different camera? And as a cross-check an older tape in the camera trying to play now? Maybe even the camcorder has a defect.

Occurs to me just yet: Are you sure that you are the original tape with the recordings have brought? To me it is synonymous happened before that I have identified one pre-recorded tape is not IMMEDIATELY and in the heat of battle in the belief it was the right cassette had inserted an EMPTY! However, it still ginbt a nightmare scenario: If you have when you try to transfer the tape into the Calculator to the camera switched to recording, instead of play, then you have probably concluded Lens filmed. Then, your recorded tape with a beautiful black and you hear s.PC your actions and lots Hintergrunfgeräusche. If so, then nothing more to be done!

USB is only for images or hard disks and flash memory cams designed to capture aka then say yes to transfer.
