Hello Slashcam,
I'm sorry Tonmensch than relatively poorly in the Picture;) and therefore I need your help.
My plan: I would like to have a camera fixed on the ceiling, install (Clubgig), and the image signal via coaxial cable (20 meters) into a DVD recorder guide. The synonymous gets me of the mixed sound. Thus my plan works, the camera must meet the following requirements:

Did someone experience, whether with a camcorder is possible, or there are other solutions, such as surveillance camera?

Maybe you should really after a surveillance camera to watch out. They are usually connected via coax, you can run long and are often suitable fixing materials here.
But any other synonymous Camera can be used to connect an analog image output.
On power is synonymous operated a camcorder to 6 hours to run because no battery is needed. Manual focus is probably not every camera, often have a cheap amateur cameras Autofocos. But if the see eg 15 meters to the stage must focus even more, I do not know. A camera signal one way or the other is relatively stable as long as no massive disruption on the cable interact (eg dimmer pack in the immediate vicinity). Then it is not the camera's fault, but rather the environment.

A small addendum to my previous experiences. I already own a Canon MV30i so far so good.
But: The Canon MV30i turns off after 5 minutes in the Rec / Pause farm! Even after studying the manual, I can not find out if you can somehow switch off. I find nothing, except the message that it is ... Have all menus durchgeforstet: (
Consequently, to me especially the question: Is this at all or so many camcorders? If I buy another, and the synonymous makes, I have two, with whom I can not begin.
But thanks to the Forum, I have again all the "tricks" such as cassette and battery pack away from, and indeed it seems to work. So thank you to the forum, I was helped;)

Many cameras provide a synonymous Picture, if they are not on Rec / Pause, but zBin stop playback.
