Frage von Fiwi78:Hi together,
we play with the idea for our documentary film with the above adapter rotate dranhängen, we want either the Sony HDV-Z1, then HDV, or a standard mini-DV. Have unfortunately no experience with film lenses, but much in the EB area, hence my question:
- Triggered off as 16mm or 35mm lenses?
- Then you can use the camera as synonymous shoulder camera?
- If the zoom lens (very general question, I know, but the dear money, are stop) only to students?
- How is this with a compendium and filters?
together: do you think this works, synonymous with reportagemäßigen elements?
Vielen Dank schon mal
Andy
Antwort von closeup25:
- Triggered off as 16mm or 35mm lenses? Yes. PL-mount.
- Then you can use the camera as synonymous shoulder camera? Hardly. Since the Z1 has no Exchangeable optics, the adapter is screwed onto the Objektivkopf. That without additional carriage does not hold, it should be clear. If, of course, always on the shoulder. However, I would not want to try.
- If the zoom lens (very general question, I know, but the dear money, are stop) only to students? If you want to use film lenses, then you should do synonymous. And there is (almost) no zoom lenses. With film, the driving is done with () is, of course, additional cost for dollies, cranes and Steadycam.
- How is this with a compendium and filters? Is there in vast quantities. Objektivabhängig.

Thank you for your reply,
because there would be a possibility with another camera using the adapter as a shoulder-mounted camera would be important for the elements of our documentary reportage?
With the zoom lens I do not understand in the film distributors, there are a whole variety s.Zoomoptiken, both for 16 as synonymous 35mm?
Sorry, it's just ne new world for me, an EB-Fuzzi ...

Hi Andy,
The zoom optics are (presumably) Canon mounts. On the P + S adapter can be well known, synonymous 35mm Stillimage-mount Lenses, and since each volume zooms are in the process. But the actual film optics (eg Arri) are vorweigend lenses.
For hand-held camera: As far as I have a look over, almost all P + S adapter mounted on a sled. This results in the shoulder, holding three major obstacles: (s.Der slide can only be in pain to keep permanently on the shoulder. (B) approves the Height of the viewfinder anymore. (C) The light cameras by the heavy Lenses and the support mechanism very top-heavy. The tripod mount is sitting so yes synonymous centered below the slide, between Lens and Camera.
On style: because I have a problem understanding. If your main turn of the shoulder, so you'll probably synonymous to work mainly in wide angle. And since the P + S adapter its specific strengths can not play out equally, as in normal and telephoto focal lengths. In my view, therefore, the use of a P + S adapter for this type of documentation is not recommended. When it comes to film look, my opinion would be more likely to use a JVC HD-100 right, the already out-of-the-box, an attractive film look produces a shoulder-mounted camera, and also makes a good figure (even better with Anton Bauer Battery as a counterweight ...). And the bargain rental costs should be smaller.
