So far I have with the movie function of my digital camera (8 MP) tried - is more than bad right (poor image quality).
Question:
Does the use of a - simple, inexpensive means - camcorder so clear improvement that is worth the purchase?
If so, there is a recommendation for a device or a minimum quality?
For example, it should manellen Focus synonymous and have manual exposure control.

Hi
USED Mini DV camcorder (SD) score on Ebay
The quality should be better than the 320x240 or 640 x 480 your DigiKnipse (think so Does the resolution or Camera?)
You know with how many frames (pictures a second) the 8mm were rotated?
Films of the screen you from?
Manually Sharpen the camcorder should be.
SD ranges really do not yet have a fully HD footage gesehn (8 mm> SD Mini DV)
But generally pleased the people, when your old material again on DVD sehn.
Have fun and get 300 euros for what clever on Ebay, the Cam, you can then still synonymous for family gatherings and so what use.

Important features of the camcorder:
1. 1 / 50 sec exposure time adjusted or even better ClearScan.
2. Audio Input
3. Manual White Balance.
4. Manual Focus Adjustment.
5. Manual Tonaussteuerung.
6. Almost, but not absolutely necessary: when capturing through directly to the PC (protects head and drive).
Previously, all times default, today it is rather rare. My old Canon MV600i (introductory device 2003) are met as to all points of 5.th
