Hello you!
I bought the new DV camcorder (CanonMV830i) and wants the movies on DVD. Got my firewire card Calculator with "upgraded". But the PC recognizes the Cam does not have FireWire, only via USB. Maybe it s.SP2 or s.der or s.Konfiguration Firewire card in my PC. The program for digital editing is Ulead VideoStudio 8 SE DVD. Have no idea. TOLL would if you had a few ideas'm ganzverzweifelt. (In theory works dubbing) without problems

For Firewire/ServicePack2 problem:
I rausgefunden that certain Programs after installation of ServicePack2 no more or no longer working properly. When I setup the system from scratch and then installed only the Programs, she again worked. Funny, but with me, it helped. But I think it's a mess (of Microsoft) that the FireWire problem was not solved after all this time. Or did I miss there was and there is already a solution? :-)

I have a Maxtor FireWire HDD with 160GB, I s.The my camcorder (JVC GR-D201e connected) via FireWire have. Before I installed ServicePack2, I was able to capture without problems. After installation of SP2, my camcorder was only sporadic, low or no longer recognized. The hard drive works without problems. Well yesterday I uninstalled the SP2. System is back up to SP1 and I can again work with the camcorder. That can not be true, right? There is no single solution for SP2/FireWire/Camcorders?

synonymous, I have a little problem with firewire capture apropos ...
synonymous everything went well for a long time ..
of filming on firewire capture device of camera (sony) with Premiere Pro 7
then .. I have reinstalled the program ... gehts since then no more.
ie. I can indeed, the "camera found" but the screen shows only black s.obwohl running time code .....
then synonymous've already tried to import just matters via timecode to ... nix da not.
I must now synonymous .. uninstall SP2?
Oh, incidentally the pinnacle studios 8 is yet.
