Frage von Bubbleman:Hello
Actually, this is a fundamental question.
I have a 707 and am very satisfied. However, I wonder if there is a Camera for this firmware update, how can I find out if I play that itself can and if so how?
Thank you.

Hi,
for Panasonic camcorder of it is very rarely the case, but if the update can be downloaded here:

So is a firmware update to the SD707 produced before summer 2010, it certainly, but the camera must be sent to the Panasonic repair shop. Is fixed so that both the jitter as synonymous to the loud fans. Since both problems have not occurred at all the cameras, it is likely that you send the update only worthwhile if your own camera is synonymous really affected. Any additional functions, as so often with new firmware, you do not get in this case. Meeting point in the video forum's are some threads relating to.

That was a fake update of Panasonic. The fan is not synonymous quieter, should work as synonymous with a firmware update?
You could just install a new fan and decreases the speed or change the automatic switch. But probably go down the little fan and still ensure that the 3 MOS sensors are cooled sufficiently.
Panasonic wanted to make it easy and rest that you have indeed synonymous.
The fan attack was more synonymous of the Canon and Sony page, who were threatened by their shares. Meanwhile, ready made merciless in so many forums like this, the other company and found unrealistic errors that play in the amateur sector simply does not matter. The market is tough fight, since one uses too many resources. In the DSLR forum, the action is still a bit next, where Canon and Nikon Fanboys "fight" relentlessly and find some absurd mistake.
I had to take back no SD 600, 750 & 707, and yes I have sold plenty of 2010.

That was a fake update of Panasonic. This corresponds synonymous my (subjective) sense. I have posted one of my two SD707 and can update (did not want the same without both), but except for a modified sequence of numbers in the service I have not found any relevant change - neither silent fan (to me but before synonymous not seemed loud) still relevant image improvement (the jitter you have to look anyway but synonymous with a magnifying glass ... at least for me) and of course synonymous no new features (which was not expected to be synonymous). Anyway, I've decided not to send in the second cam ... I think the fix is now synonymous rather a placebo for insecure clients. (I will not rule out that there are synonymous devices which causes the firmware update really noticeable improvement.)
Overall though I think the SD707 is still synonymous for a very good cam - the improvements that one wishes to use are more technical in nature and are not affected by the update. If, therefore, with his SD707 is fairly satisfied, I would advise to "never change a running system".

... Was a fake update of Panasonic. The fan is not synonymous silent, how could it work synonymous with a firmware update? ... Primarily, it was while I remember, synonymous to the jitter, and the fan was almost in passing "repaired". That the latter was done not only by other firmware, it is presumed, in fact, because otherwise one would not have insisted that the camera needs to be mailed. However, Panasonic, in terms of firmware, always good times for a surprise: The broadcast division's synonymous has already managed to put a new firmware for the HMC151 online, of which one could declare themselves not what they should be good. ..

Would have been a possibility, but no: The party batteries work still synonymous with the new firmware.
