In my price range I think the SD707 a viable choice to be. But I see nowhere a way to make synonymous in VGA format (640x480) images. Which I use for my base images for VJ clips because I'm (still) not switched to widescreen. I could cropping so, but have no good control when recording images using the. About what I see?

About what I see? No, the camera can only full-HD. For such exotic tasks you have to convert down in an editing program.

The 550D and the SX1 provide the format just with. Is there a similarly useful HD Videocam who can? The 550D is in many situations not just about handles well (focus, zoom ,...).
