This was true with the false information in many photo forums. The so-called professionals then had a 20 MB / sec card (Class 6) for a video feature in a digicam recommended without thinking.
Zb with Quicktime Motion JPEG compression and 640x480 with 30 B / sec needs a Canon, Panasonic or Fuji digital camera for example 1min video about 80-90 MB per minute, ie 1.2 MB / sec - that really creates almost every card, so everyone fairly low-cost operators are minimum 2 MB - ie Class 2.
