Dubbing the tape contents to the PC - Video Editing - playing off of the video on the tape.
Former state:
Camera is not recognized
(in USB mode, it fúnktionieret)
For reasons I have previously ungeklätern ONCE managed to transfer the video to the PC ....
So far, the following is clear:
1. The cable (4:6) is apparently OK
2. In mode PLAY / EDIT is for the manufacture of the cable connection "DVin displayed.
3. It says in the Control Panel: NEC OHCI compliant IEEE1394 host controller.
4. SP 2 I have already uninstalled.
5. About VIDEO deluxe 2006 plus the camera is not recognized: "It could be her'gestellt NOT connect to the device."
6. Also on the notebook, the camera (cable 4:4) is not recognized.
Slowly I walk out of ideas.

Seriously, each Firewire cable, which carries this name is suitable for transmission. However, the cheapest go bad very quickly, because bending the contact tongues. But a Sony Firewire cable for> 25 ¬ it must therefore be a long time yet.

The original i.Link cable of Sonyhat a good fit, particularly in the critical part (the 4-pin. Relates to time). The price is actually not half bad.
