Since today I got this camcorder. Previously had the XR500, which I was too big and I am now landed in the CX505. Terms of image stabilization, the best thing I've ever seen. Better than the xr500.
The CX505 has the new software, such as the HDR-TG7, with the scroll-touch-screen and "My Menu" (custom settings for the personal use shäufgsten menu where you can show any 6 free menu items, each with 6 for FILM, PHOTO and PLAY).
The smaller sizes can clearly remember (; positive) compared to xr500/520.
You can first close the display synonymous and can continue the recording (; adjustable in the menu, if desired).

2h20min consecutive recording with no zoom and mostly closed => disabled screen.

12h24min 5Mbit in LP / s

Edited with Windows Movie Maker Beta and to 1280x720 at 6mbit / s encoded.
Data transfer speed from internal 32GB memory .... will now start times 10min in FULL HD and then report here how long the transfer takes ....

So: 10min FULL HD with 16mbit / s Date => 1.2GB file size
Transfer takes 1min 10sec (70 sec).
They are the equivalent of just over
17MB / s from the internal memory via USB 2.0 to PC.
