has anyone worked with the SR1E? What are the advantages or disadvantages of a recording to hard drive?
How long can I record HDV or DV?
How is it handling?
Will join after s.den Calculator individual sequences shown, which I then just need to copy?
Any tips?
Or would you prefer the HDR HC1E?
Would have an answer very grateful!

Well we had the issue so many times ... the search helps ;-)
But:
Handling is good. Is very good in the hand. Synonymous LCD is very good. Very sharp!
Recording length of 4 hours in HD mode Resolutionim Xp 7 hours in normal mode. With SD up to 11 hours but for best pal Resolutionliegt the recording duration synonymous with approximately 7 hours.
Battery holds about 1 - 1 1 / 2 hours .... that is the great extra battery is a must!
The Sony software is very concise. There are different recordings than the sequences shown. The software files by date and store the images in sequences or to automatically created folder on the hard drive.
When viewing the clips on the LCD of the camera, they are synonymous by date as small images for each sequence shown. So very very clear.
Disadvantages of hard drive ... limiting the hard drive .. So 30Gig is maximum. For all the amateur filmmaker, this completely.
The low light outcome is not very good ... although probably typical class ... thinking has not done much to the older formats.
The Wide Angle Presented in small spaces ... who needs more buys an extra wide Anglefür approximately 200 Euros ...
As so often mentioned post ... very expensive ... Only about expensive in Mpeg2 codec then convert is only possible with a handling course there quick calculator is needed. But over the course of the year it will probably support.
For all the time yet to post can wait .. is it ok .. all others should prefer an HC1 or so to buy.
