I can say here happened to someone like me pgeln must have a SQN3 s.einer EX3? If it is indeed a DigiBeta -18 / -20 dB.

There's really no difference from a Digibeta. The rest is in the manual (input to "Manual" and "External" set and control s.der Camera with the help of the meter in the display) set to match the input signal.

line level: +4 dBu

The value is set to 0 dB when the control is set to 5 Setting to 10 maximizes the level (+12 dB) and setting it to 0 minimizes (- " ).

Reference level: 0 dBu = 0.775 Vrms)
If you have a headroom of-18dB vorsiehst, then put the level at the camera at 5 and the master gain s.SQN-3 to 0dB.
The EX3 has an excellent way audio portion, which is even much better (especially far fewer rushing) as with so many great models. The as-18dB are definitely not a problem
