Hi,

have my SonyDCR-SR32E is not so long and have today at the first blue screen shots found that:

s.der Camera screen a smaller picture shows, when the recorded film (the edges of the bluescreens were visible in the film). Is this normal?

b) Camera and Lens itself (stood quietly on a tripod) or constantly shake slightly nachzieht, ie times you see the blue screen limits the left, sometimes right. I almost had the impression that the camera / lens a bit of the object (me) follows, as if the camera lens in the light horizontally and vertically to move if necessary. Is this a feature or a bug?

Especially (b) I find unsatisfactory, for which I have since then NEN Tripod, if it's synonymous wobbles? Or is that not typical function of this' fool-proof 'beginner cameras?

Yes. The associated search term is called "overscan".

This is a feature and is called Image Stabilization. If the camcorder is on a tripod, turn from the stabilizer.

You had not accidentally switched on the Image Stabilization? If it does, then the likely cause of the jitter to be found.

Btw. @ Markus:'ve seen that you are from the Frankfurt area. Gibt's da (non-commercial) groups or institutions who are shooting with the company and you could recommend for beginners? People with whom you may have a interesting film project together could make?

I like the area. Carving, MBF, pill ... It still SWR, ZDF and Sat1.
