Hello,

Had the ST3500630NS Seagate Barracuda ES, RAID Edition, 24 / 7 or Caviar RE2 WD5000ABYS Caviar RAID Edition, 24 / 7 may be suitable for this? And if the hard disks in Raid bring enough computing power to DVCPRO HD edit pages?

An alternative would be Avid Express pro HD.

DVC PRO HD editing in the Windows world is primarily a matter of codecs. Was me what the handling and components are not so sure.
But now I Discover a red thread, what the configuration is concerned.
One question I have yet. Is the Raid 10 suited?
If fast and simultaneous data backup. Or rather Raid 0 and then an additional 2 X 500GB hard disks without Raidverbund free.
