Frage von SixFo:Hi folks,
I've recently gained a new system with an Intel Dual Core and a Asus P5LD2-V. On my old system I had two XP installations on two different panels (the main system on disk 0 / Primary Master and editing system on disk 2 Secondary Master) and everything went smoothly after installing the second XP for the average system ... The same course I wanted synonymous on my new system and have got placed here nen shot in oven ... This board makes me ready! This board is both an IDE connector and two E-IDE slots. The latter is my problem. If I am one of the panels on the slot a wake-IDE DVD-ROM drive and then connect the Windows installation will run directly from the boats, which is not handicapped. Will I also do about E-IDE, while he takes hold of the CD, but other than that the CD is spinning, all the lights (on CD, hard drive) light up the keyboard and cursor flashes in the top left picture, nothing happens! Thus, the Windows CD on E-IDE does not boot, even though the boot order in BIOS is set correctly. Just before that is even more "Bootable CD found in Drive 1". Now I just have time windows on the second IDE installed on the other plate and again umgestöpselt on E-IDE. Hal.dll missing then I only get. Boot.ini is actually set correctly, so it should not be because well. But what it is now, I can not figure out for a week ... Hal.dll I have already tried replacing synonymous, but it brings far nothing is known. Even a copy of the partition of the first system to the second did not work.
As I said, the editing system is on Secondary Master. Here is an excerpt from the Boot.ini:
[boot loader]
Timeout = 5
Default = multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \ WINDOWS = "Main System" / fastdetect
[operating systems]
multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \ WINDOWS = "Main System" / fastdetect
multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (2) partition (1) \ WINDOWS = "Cutting System" / fastdetect
It would be very nice if someone could help me before I'll get a bomb and send back the thing together with Asus motherboard! Can be no question that the damn thing does not have E-IDE CD or DVD drive of leaves! Thanks in advance

Have you ever thought that it simply a master / slave could be problem?
Besides, a tip: s.einen HDD IDE channel (Primary) CD / DVD, etc. s.den other (secondary), then goes to synonymous.
And another thing, both are with Security E-IDE channels.

More detail please. The system drives are both on the master, as it should be. As for your tip, I have written that this variant works with the installation, but even if you said it to IDE remains missing HAL.DLL synonymous ...
