I have seen such a thing recently, but forgot to ask how such a tripod is, it looks like this:

Once it is screwed down s.The Camera and then you have a handle on the right side and the camera can take instead of the wrist strap. That part for me would be stable for a 2 or 3 kilos of camera.
I have no idea how hot the thing is, it's just an extra handle or it is used as synonymous with little Steady Cam?
